Honey Bee Award | Brettney

I would like to nominate BRETTNEY because she has been very active since she joined on Rush Week and has been there for the members, always helping out when she can.

I'm going to nominate Brettney, because although still fairly new, she's just jumped right in and been amazing, wonderful, and active!

I would like to nominate Brettney - even though she is one of the newest members of Unique, she has really seemed to step it up and add a lot to the cult! She definitely deserves to be nominated this month.

Congratulations Brettney!

Aditya's Adventures

Written by: Tabatha

A crisp air blew around Aditya as she made her way through Centropolis to the Survivors Memorial. This time of the year always resonated deep in her heart, as she had made several friends over the years, both survivors and zombies. If she had to choose a word to describe the friendships between the two, she would have to say it was 'beautiful'. Often times there would be fights that would try to pin the zombies against the humans, especially last year with the fiasco between Ecks and Skitters, but Aditya somehow managed to keep her friendships within Unique calm despite all of that. It was one of her specialties, making sure that any discomfort eased away and let her family continue loving one another. Each year she would have to calm down the war between the two, and by the time the Survivor event passed, no one remembered why they were so upset in the first place.

This year, no new viruses were around, and Aditya assumed this would be a good thing. Everyone could focus on loving one another, and remembering the years passed together and mourns the loss of those whose infections took their lives completely. On her way back to the main hive, Aditya picked up some lovey dovey decorations, debating on throwing a Bee In Love party, but the moment she reached the hive she knew something was wrong.

Outside were several members, those who openly showed their zombie skins, and those who'd carefully been hiding it for years. They were being pelted by candies by the other members who were screaming about something. When Aditya got close enough, she pulled a random member to the side- realising that it was Julen, and asked what was going on.

"The non-zombies are freaking out throwing the stupid candies at us. They want to be zombies too. I can't even right now." Without another word, she ran off to a hiding spot, avoiding all of the heart candies that Subetan's traded when kissing one another.

Enraged by the actions of her fellow survivors, Aditya rushed around the back of the hive, entering through the Admin entrance that lead to all of the secret rooms. Running quickly, she finally made it to the front of the hive where her fellow bees were hanging out of windows, throwing the candies and yelling about wanting to be zombies too. Unsure of what to do, Aditya snuck off to the kitchens to find something that would stop them long enough to speak to them. That's when she caught sight of the large tubs of honey that had been collected recently. She hated having to go that far, but there weren't a lot of options. Grabbing the tubs, she threw them into the main room, making the other members slip slide and fall down and become stuck to the sticky substance.

"Hey!" "What the heck?" "Ahhh get it off me!"

All of them began yelling confused and hurt and sticky from head to toe. Aditya stood with her hands on her hips, a disappointed look in her face. Once the members caught sight of her, they quieted down rather quickly; no one liked seeing Aditya upset.

"I understand that you are all upset about not getting the chance to be a zombie and eat some brains this year, but that's no reason to take it out on your fellow hive mates! They can't help that their kind are not producing more infections for everyone to become sick with, but at least they're opening their homes to us so we can shop for things we want and need during the Memorial. You owe them an apology." Aditya's voice was stern, never wavering one bit. The members sighed and hung their heads in shame.

One by one they managed to get up and go clean the honey from every orifice of their bodies. Then they each apologised to the Unique Zombies, and gave them hugs (after warnings to not eat their brains of course). By the end of the night, all of Unique were at peace once again, and celebrating the Survivors together by kissing and swapping candy hearts. Aditya looking on with a content look, counting her candy hearts and wondering what the Masquerade would bring to their little hive.
