HA Survivor
As a part of the two year anniversary celebration, Unique sponsored a game of HA Survivor for bees and non bees alike to participate in to compete for excellent prizes (donated by Kal)! This is the first event that Unique has had that took place on Subeta which any users could participate, and it was a great success! We had 50 participants, and are currently down to 10 participants. Check next month's newsletter for a recap of the event!

Arcade Tournament
In celebration of Unique's second anniversary, Matt hosted a gaming tournament! In total nine people signed up to participate for the tournament, which would be based on games played in Unique's arcade of flash games.

In round one 8 of the nine contestants competed. Mel was able to avoid competing until round two because she was seeded. The contests were paired up and three games were chosen for each pair. Both members of the pair had one week to play the three games and score as high as they could on each - the person who got the best two out of three moved on to the next round and the loser was eliminated. In the end Iyce, Ann, and Silvy moved onto the semifinals and Kitten moved on to fight Mel in round two. Inextricable, Socks, Taffysm, and Mieke were eliminated.

In round two there was only one competition - another best two out of three round with Mel vs. Kitten. Additionally there was a bonus high score competition for all who wanted to enter - current participants of the tournament, eliminated members, and members of Unique who didnt sign up for the tournament. Kitten beat Mel and moved on to the Semifinals while Ann won the bonus competition, earning her 20 PP, 100 EpicCon points and 100 CSC.

In the semifinals the old best two out of three format was changed - the pairings only had one game to play. Ann and Silvy played Hero Hoops while Kitten and Iyce played Diamond Fever. After a week it was clear that Ann and Kitten and won, meaning they moved onto the finals. There was another bonus competition this round, anyone who wanted to participate was asked to predict the winners from first to fourth place with 100 CSC to the person who got the most right after all was said and done.

Finally came the Finals. Kitten and Ann were fighting for first place while Silvy and Iyce were left duking it out for third. In the end Ann managed to beat out Kitten, securing her spot as Unique's arcade champion. Additionally, Iyce managed to snag third place and beat Silvy. Although nobody predicted all four spots correctly in last week's bonus competition, Socks, Taffysm, and Mieke all tied for closest and received 100 CSC each.

As her prize, Ann won 500 CSC, 1000 Wizard Tokens, 200 PP, and a unique cult rank! Kitten, Iyce, and Silvy all won awesome prizes consisting of CSC, tokens, PP and a cult rank as well - although Silvy didn't get a cult rank of her own for coming in fourth place.
